Principal owner Scott Moulds has been involved in the steel industry most of his working career. He was employed by BHP Steelworks in 1985 as a trainee Mechancial Engineer and spent 9 years working in maintenance and then construction and project management roles.
He then moved to a subsiduary of Shell working in the plastic industry and finally as PM for construction of their new $42M production facility. From there he moved into the consulting industry and has been an owner / director of various businesses for the past 20 years.
In 2002 Scott formed 3D Specialists and recently 3D Specialists underwent a restructure and has now been resurrected by Scott to continue its work in the steel fabrication industry. The business is proud of its heritage and has a long list of projects it has been credited with sucessfully assisting builders and fabricators in completing over the past 15 years and looks forward to many more great projects into the future.
We have formed long relationships with many of our clients and pride ourselves on being flexible and reliable with timings and outcomes. We will assist where ever possible in meeting those unrealistic or tight deadlines.
